My good friend Mark, the author of inkBlots, penned a heartfelt piece today. You see, his family has gone through similar circumstances with their son/brother, Jim.
Jim was injured in an auto accident in October 1999. Of all things, he was injured while working on-duty as a paramedic. I remember it vividly, because although Mark and his family lived elsewhere, Jim lived and worked near my hometown. Please read what he has to say about how the Schiavo story hits close to home.
